The College of Humanities and Social Sciences has been formally founded on Aug,
2007.

There are now two departments and one center :
1. Department of Taiwan Language and Communication
2. Department of Chinese Language and Literature
3. Chinese Language Education Center

As to the number of faculty, the College now consists of 3 professors, 8 associate professors, 5 assistant professors, and 1 lecturer.
